The COVID-19 pandemic has been especially crippling to the housing industry, particularly in the multi-family arena, where there has been almost an 8% drop in reported rent payments (year over year). Due to COVID-19 mandates, there have been some changes to the legal notification process landlord must convey to tenants. What is AB 1482? This Assembly Bill passed in 2019 and became law effective January 1, 2020.
